A series of hands-on exercises provides immediate experience in securing Windows 2000. Exercises, performed under the guidance of an expert instructor, include:
Configuring Kerberos for enhanced security
Hacking Windows 2000
Using smart cards for enhanced authentication and EFS recovery
Modifying process-level tokens to expose file system vulnerabilities
Configuring EFS recovery policies
Manipulating the schema to control default object security
Automating security administration with advanced policy templates
Implementing IPSec for encrypted data exchange
Configuring Certificate Server and generating digital certificates
Designing and deploying advanced enterprise security policies
