The Computer Forensics and Electronic Discovery (CFED) training course was designed to train “Cybercrime Investigators” in electronic discovery and the fundamentals of conducting a proper computer forensic examination. This course is essential to information security, risk management, loss prevention, corporate security and law enforcement personnel who encounter digital evidence while conducting an investigation. The training environment is interactive and the students work on case files in a hands-on environment. Upon completion of the course students will have the knowledge to immediately begin using their new skills to conduct a computer forensic examination.

This course is designed for the computer forensic savvy investigator who needs and desires to take their skill set to the next level. Prerequisites
Introductory - Students must be familiar with common computer functions from an end user level (or above) in a Windows environment. This course caters to students with no previous experience in computer forensics or students at an entry to intermediate level of proficiency in computer forensics. Students will walk away from this course with the information necessary to immediately conduct an examination of digital media.

Advanced - Students must be very proficient with computer forensics. This course caters to students who have been actively involved with computer forensic examinations and wants to take their skills to the next level.

Could have been better
I recently took the forensics course, while I found the instructor to be knowledgable, I didnt like the lousy facilities and lack of included meals.
