Overview
VPN-1/FireWall-1 Management I NG is an introductory course for Check Point’s flagship product, VPN-1/FireWall-1 NG. This course covers the basic steps involved in setting up an Internet firewall, and provides hands-on training to manage a FireWall-1 installation. In addition, new capabilities in the Next Generation (NG) version of VPN-1/FireWall-1 are highlighted.

VPN-1/FireWall-1 Management II NG offers advanced training on VPN-1/FireWall-1 NG and delivers in-depth information on VPN and encryption technologies. In this course, students will acquire the skills necessary to set up a site-to-site VPN and roll-out a remote access VPN with either VPN-1 SecureClient™ or VPN-1 SecuRemote™.

VPN-1/FireWall-1 architecture and how to deploy its various modules and components
How to install and configure VPN-1/FireWall-1 on both Windows and Solaris
The basics of defining a security policy using the VPN-1/FireWall-1 Security Dashboard, incorporating the Visual Policy Editor™
How to deploy and manage distributed security gateways using Check Point’s SecureUpdate™ and Secure Internal Communications (SIC) capabilities
Administration and troubleshooting of VPN-1/FireWall-1 security policies
The basic of and how to implement network address translation (NAT)
How to set-up user authentication in a VPN-1/FireWall-1 environment
Part Two
