Prerequisites:
The CISSP exam is not an extraordinarily difficult one. However, it does cover a very wide range of topics. The sheer volume of information students need to understand, comprehend, and remember is extensive. This 5-day boot camp is designed to help maximize and focus the overall learning experience. The boot camp is designed to keep a reasonable balance between lecture presentation, in-class question discussion, self-paced review, and drilling with practice questions.
About the Course:
The first four days of the CISSP boot camp are very full. You will be spending ~8 hours in class followed up by 2 to 4 hours of homework each day. The fifth day of the boot camp is only a 1/2 day. We spend the morning taking a full length practice exam. Once the exam is graded and discussed, you are free to study on your own the rest of the day. The final afternoon is your time to have the instructor review or discuss any section of the material covered during the week. Once requests for classroom reviews end, the instructor will be available for one-on-one discussions for the rest of the day.
One very important aspect of this camp is proper preparation. Without proper preparation, you will get behind. The courseware for the CISSP boot camp has been designed to build on a basic foundation of CISSP knowledge. The primary means by which we can be assured that you have this knowledge is for you to read the CISSP Study Guide from Sybex before attending class. This book will be shipped to you immeadiately upon registration into class. Additional course materials will be provided on the first day of the class.
